well, you guessed it, i am jobless after 1 month of surviving as Bridget Jones. It was nowwhere as exciting as Renee had it, not to even mention there was no Hugh Grant or Colin Firth for that matter....
Anyway, i am quite happy i made the decision to leave, altho some may think i lack perseverance, or didn't give the job a second chance. didn't think i would hv been any happier if i had stayed. Sometimes pple make mistakes, and i happen to make more in my career than other friends. All i want is to be happy and I will do whatever it takes to achieve that. Somehow i felt the need to explain my actions and this paragraph seems to be it, hor?
I am now looking out for a cafe job, so if anyone has any lobang, plse let me know. All i want to do is brew coffee, a good cuppa coffee.
guess what happened to me and a couple of gal frens on wed at Zouk wine bar??? we got chatted up by these 3 sleazy men and the opening line was : "can i do a survey on ballroom dancing? what do you think of men who learn ballroom dancing?" i mean is that the best he/they can come up with in the 21st century?? 3 of us rolled our eyeballs, squirmed in our seats and gave him the answer. He did not leave.
Cut long story short, after ten mins of his "survey" he went back to sit behind us and his fren then turned and asked if we were going into Zouk, they "hv not been in a while". Do we care? answer is NO. so we said nope, not going in. end of conversation, right? but oh no, dear fren turned to us again in a bt 2 mins and asked if he could join our table and watch his football on tv quietly while we continue w our conversation among ourselves as his frens were leaving. Junbin mumbled under her breathe : "what? he wants us to babysit him?". so we finished our drinks and said we were leaving ie. tough shit. went to claim our car and "our fren" drove by us in his car and waved at us, but none of us acknowledged it, altho Shin and I saw from the corner of our eyes that he waved. Wat a LOSER!
Dun think we can still decide if it was a compliment or just "suayness" that we got such attention from these "Desperate Yuppies".....
ok, gonna shower and take a short nap now, sis is having a durian party at my place later.... dun even ask why....
