My last days in UK as a pseudo student

i finally remembered that i had a blog set up some time back and thought it might be time to drop in and post something.

it's been almost a week since i moved into Chandler Hall in University of College Worcester. My last destination before i head home in about 2 days! Arghhh! It scares me just how fast time has gone by, and reality really set in last week. i look at the calendar on a daily basis, just counting down in hours to the moment when i step on board Boeing 747, SQ 327 this fri morning.

in the last few months, i hv moved more often than i ever did in my entire life, setting up "home" all over. I sound like a homeless destitute but the truth is this:

May 04 - moved from Manchester city to ulu town called Prestwich outside city
July 04 - moved from Prestwich to Andy's plc in the countryside, Yeovil, Somerset
Sept 04 - moved from Yeovil to student halls in Worcester
Late Sept 04 - Flying home to Singapore

I am just glad that i am in my last phase right now and then it will be a couple of months staying at home before i move yet again! This time into our new flat in Holland Village with my sister, and hopefully I can finally unpack in peace.

Have been forewarned by my sister that when i arrive home, i should not attempt to unpack as all my previous cupboards and drawers have been taken over in my absence. My clothes and stuff have been packed into various plastic bags ranging from Mango plastic bags to good ol' NTUC plastic bags and stored under my grandma's bed! so much for going back to home sweet home.....

I would like also to take this opportunity on my blog to thank the various friends who have kindly offered their habitat for my refuge should i need one.

shall end here, have to go pick up the laundry from the laundry room next door and transfer to dryer for another £1.00 (just ridiculous!). Then it is back to the halls for dinner in the very tiny kitchen shared among like 10 ppl on the same 3rd floor and looking forward to having my nightly shower in the bathroom w a shower head that literally trickles. It takes about a full 5 mins for my entire body to get wet and I am not even massive. Worse, I am having my menses... haha. thought you might be interested in that little trivia....
