I have a cold

Its March already and the weather is still cold. I am sneezing and hv got a blocked nose and a sore throat. feels like shit with a very tasteless mouth. Staying home this weekend, husband watching rugby on a saturday afternoon. went out this morning to get groceries, supermarket was very busy.

have been at the new job for 3 weeks now, this week was my first week solo and I survived. rather well i must say for someone with so much to learn and do! been staying late most nights to try to get things done, by late i mean 6.30-7pm. its late by the standards here cos pple leave work very punctually. and i hate to catch the peak hour train cos its either packed to the door cos pple refuse to move into the aisle and just all stand near the door, or the trains are delayed which means more pple are waiting at every station.

Work mates are generally friendly but a rather young lot, i think going out to get drunk every friday night is not my scene. a movie in or having a nice dinner out at the pub is more my thing. afterall, i am 30.

watched Juno last night after a pub dinner and really enjoyed the movie, light and refreshing, altho i cannot imagine how it could hv won so many awards.

Moving office this friday. yay, looking forward to making my own stamp/mark in the new place, at least it does not feel like taking over someones old seat. might even give the keyboard a JIF clean.

Big meeting to attend with the bosses on Monday and not looking fwd to it, have to go to the estate agents to meet like 6 blokes, and i probably look like the type that they think they can bully cos 1) i am new, 2) i look... different, 3)i look quite young? thank goodness, this is a once a month meeting with a room full of egoistical men.

i want a new hairstyle. but my hair is not growing out fast enough.

i miss hanging out in Spore.

i keep finding out that friends are getting pregnant. I feel so distant.
